A fruiting forest requires dedication, for planting and harvesting is a year long process. Cultivating from the forest has been a part of the Temuan Indigenous livelihood for generations, even pre-dating the formation of Malaysia. Here, so close to the capital of Malaysia, this tradition continues in the hearty Kampung Orang Asli Serendah.
Join us as you embark on a journey through rich historical land. Learn first hand from the Orang Asli Serendah Community as they take you through a guided hike in their rightful land. Enrich yourself with the hands-on knowledge on techniques used to upkeep and live of the forest, as you observe how the forest itself gives back to the community.
During the experience, be refreshed with a traditional Temuan powersnack. A delicious snack made by the women of the community to keep your energy up.
