Introducing Kampung Serendah

Introducing the Temuan Tribe of Kampung Orang Asli Serendah.

Across a dense rainforest, located approximately 45-minutes from the capital of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur; lays the Indigenous Village of Serendah. A community that has been the caretakers of the Selangor forest for generations that pre-date the establishment of Malaysia as an independent nation.

As part of the culture of the Temuan Tribespeople here, daily love includes caring for the fruiting “kebun” and living off it. Using methods passed down from parent to child, the indigenous tribe of Serendah continues to preserve the traditional way of living amidst the everchanging environment that surrounds them.

Native, has been a part of the community for several years, equipping and empowering the village with opportunities through our programmes. In line with the end of travel restrictions due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we will be launching a series of tour programmes, homestay accommodations, and community building programmes to continue our efforts to enrich the community.

Join us and be a part of Native by signing up for our tour programmes, sharing our content, and supporting us; as we look to increase our positive impact amongst the indigenous tribes in Malaysia.
