A 30-minute drive away from the capital of Malaysia, travellers will be embarking on a 5-6 hour cultural journey through the secondary rainforest of the central hub for indigenous communities in Peninsular Malaysia. Our Native host Raman Bahtuin who has nearly 2 decades of experience will guide you into the village and teach you the fundamental skills of foraging, fire starting and basic weaving techniques with this oldest daughter, Jureen Bahtuin.
With the forest acting as your backdrop, guests can expect to prepare their own traditional meals using handed-down Semai methods and natural resources from the surrounding forest, and challenge themselves with traditional Asli arts, crafts and games.
Suitable for all ages. Does not need experience in hiking.
